Jilisa is a Registered Nurse by trade, but has found a passion in the preventative side of the health care system by working with clients to maximize their health and fitness outside of the hospital by focusing on both their fitness and nutrition!
Here are some fun facts about Jilisa!
1️⃣I love to cook and bake, but I can’t follow a recipe to save my life. Sometimes it’s a good thing, and other times… not so much.
2️⃣ I love thrusters and burpees.
3️⃣One of my biggest pet peeves in life is losing something. If I have lost something, I will not sleep until I find it. I lost a watch many years ago and it still haunts me.
⭐What is your favourite part about coaching?
Every client, nutrition or fitness, has a moment where something just “clicks.” It’s such a cool moment to be a part of, and I love knowing that I can help clients feel capable and confident either in the kitchen, or at the gym (or outside, or while playing their sport – however they are choosing to be active).
⭐What are your goals as a coach?
My goal as a nutrition coach is to change the narrative about fad diets & restriction, and to help people build healthier relationships with food and their bodies. I want to teach people that they can both enjoy food, and still have a healthy and strong body!!
As a fitness coach, I want to empower my clients to achieve (and surpass!!) their goals, and support them along the way. My goal is to make sure my clients know that they can do anything they put their mind to.
